Project: Turkey Privatization - May 15, 2009 Passed the Project Management Professional Examination. Project Management Institute - May 05, 2008 Yupin Rigas, my wife, graduated with a Bachelors of Business Degree (Major in Accounting). Her commencement service took place in Mission College, Saraburi , 170 Kms from Bangkok. Several of our friends and relatives attended the ceremony. - January 19, 2008 Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Information Technology was awarded to me in a Graduation Commencement Ceremony at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. My wife, professors, and several of my friends attended the ceremony. - September 2007 - June 2008 Assigned as a Deputy Project Manager for Taiwan Sports Betting project. The primary objectives of the project was to build a sports betting system that should provide sports betting wagering capabilities to 1500 retailers nationwide. Our major partners in this project included: Hong Kong Jockey Club and Taipei Fubon Bank. The joint venture formed to handle the local operations of the lottery was Taipei Sports Lottery Corporation (TSLC). - July 20, 2007 PhD (Information Technology) Final Dissertation Defense Research Study: An Investigation of the Turnover Intentions of Information Systems Personnel in Thailand Status: Successfully completed with minor changes (title earned) - June 25 - July 13, 2007 Assigned as DPM to Seoul, South Korea Project : Korea Conversion - June 4, 2007 Journal article accepted for publication in the Information Resource Management Journal. Title of Paper Presented: A Model of Turnover Intentions among Technically-Oriented Information Systems Professionals. - May 25-26, 2007 National IT Conference on Computing and Information Technology King Mongkut University of Technology Title of Paper Presented: Factors Related to Turnover Rates among Information Systems Personel in Thailand Abstract: This study examines the relationships among factors associated with the Turnover Intentions of technically-oriented information systems professionals in Thailand. The factors are derived from existing theory and previous studies and are operationalized in a questionnaire completed by 437 respondents. The results are analyzed and the findings are presented together with implications for those responsible for the management of information systems personnel.
