How to Get Foursquare to Connect to BBM
If you’ve always been used to checking into Foursquare from your Blackberry, and suddenly Foursquare is not able to detect your location, then after investigation you figure BBM Service is Disconnected (under Foursquare Options), the solution to this is to upgrade your BBM (or Blackberry Messenger) to version 6. As soon as you do so, restart your blackberry, launch Foursquare and it will ask you to set up BBM Connected Applications. From there on, you restart again and then launch Foursquare. It will then ask you to sign in with your Blackberry ID. Do so and wait till you get a confirmation that ‘Foursquare is not connected to your BBM’. All set. Happy ‘Checking’.
